My fascination with photography began over 20 years ago while stationed in Europe. I was serving my second assignment in the USAF, but the seeds of a life long pursuit were firmly planted. After leaving the military, I pursued a career in the financial industry. However, photography was always my true passion, and in my free time I took on numerous assignments in a variety of subjects ranging from motor sports to interior design. Several years later, I used that experience to pursue photography professionally full time.
For over two decades, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the world through many camera lenses, and I am as excited today, as I was when picking up that first simple camera. Whether hanging out of a helicopter shooting a world-class ski resort, avoiding ill-tempered buffalo in East Africa, or photographing places that create our modern world, I am always at home behind the lens.
Today, I spend most of my time in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and other West Coast cities photographing architectural subjects from the hottest new restaurants, and industrial facilities, to the buildings that create our skylines. I also travel internationally several times each year for assignments to build my library of stock/fine art imagery. With many years of living in various cities throughout North America, my wife and I look forward settling down and building a new quality of life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
